Sensory Analysis:
How to Talk About Wine Like a Pro
Asheville School of Wine Class on analyzing and describing what’s in your glass.
In this class we will discuss the flavor characteristics of the wines we are tasting, such as tannin,
acidity, and various flavors. We will also discuss winemaking techniques that impart flavors,
such as malolactic conversion, oak aging and the effects of terroir on wine.
